Renaissance Zones are being developed throughout communities in North Dakota.  The purpose of the zone is to designate a specific area of 20 contiguous blocks within your community and target that area for improvements.  There are tax incentives at the local and state level that can be obtained if these improvements qualify.  Improvements can include remodeling residential or commerical, building new structures or restoring historical buildings.  Bottineau is in the process of developing a Renaissance Zone and would like the public's input into this process.  Public meetings are being held.
